The term “geek” is perhaps one of the more misunderstood words. You would usually imagine a bespectacled young fellow who looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks. However, being a geek can mean a lot of things, and this would mostly entail having a passion–or even an obsession–to any particular object if interest. These maybe a passion in technology, gadgetry, film (or certain genres thereof), or other art forms.
In the online world, perhaps the biggest favorites among geeks are technology, gadgetry and film. Or at least that’s what is prevalent in Forever Geek, which is among my favorites when it comes to niche blogs. The niche here is not exactly too specific, but the blog covers a lot of things that a geek can be passionate about: gadgets, comic books, films/movies, and even weird or absurd news material.
I should know. I had once been a Forever Geek editor/contributor myself, and it was here where I really explored a lot of my geek fantasies, like writing about those uber-cool sports cars I know I could not afford, or reviewing my latest gadget acquisitions.
