The Internet is full of information, many of which may not really do anything to contribute positively to one’s knowledge. Now and then, though, you come across something that really catches your attention. And that’s how I found Not Your Average Widow.
This is the the blog of Erin, a woman with many facets, a young widow being one of them. She has gone through a lot in her life, but she does not let that get in the way of making the most of what she has. She started the blog when she lost her husband in 2009. He was an EOD Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and was in active duty in Afghanistan. Since then, her blog has become more than an outlet for her grief. Through Erin’s writing, she has reached out to other people who need support and encouragement.
