BlogActiv is:
an “expert generated content” Web2.0 site focusing on EU affairs. It aims to become the premier source for opinions, discussions and views on the EU.
Being focused on European issues, its content naturally has quite a passionate and activist-like feel to it. However, a reader or site visitor would wonder if the website’s color theme actually works against the blog. In this writer’s opinion, the happy white, blue and green colors work against the passionate and politically-focused theme of the blog’s content. It is this writer’s opinion that a tri-color theme would work better: Blue/Black/White or Red/Black/White, in order for the blog to be taken seriously. The green accents lend a lighter feel to it, which makes for an impression of the blog being made up of less serious stuff.
But admittedly, this blog community delivers a lot of sense and attacks the issues surrounding Europe quite incisively. One aspect that more than makes up for its shortcomings. On the whole, an excellent, informative blog-site; just don’t mind the green accent.
