Art imitates life, it is said. A blogger who is also an artist does this doubly–both with the blog and the works of art. A blog, after all, is a work of art also, in that one can journal one’s experiences and thoughts in what becomes a living story. It’s an art in itself. I am a self-taught, artist who paints mainly in acrylics, and occasionally in oils. From my home studio, I produce paintings that express my intense interest in color and light. My paintings have been available for sale through a local framing studio gallery and also are now available through my website. I want people to just enjoy my paintings and not look beyond for deeper meanings that just aren’t there.
