My guitarlife was an on-and-off-and-on-again kinda thing (obviously, it’s ON again now). My measly student allowance back in college got in the way of a possible professional pursuit (hehe), as well as other things. Instead of my own guitar, I borrow my brother’s; instead of professional guitar lessons, I hang out with my guitar-playing friends and pick up tips here and there.
All things considered, I’m still proud to say that my entire bank of guitar skills have developed from basic chords and plain strumming, to plucking and reading tablatures (occasionally). Guitar-playing is not something I am compelled to do, it’s something I’m fond of doing, albeit my inexpertise.
On the other hand, blogging (and writing for websites) has evolved from mere addiction to a career. So then I thought, why not merge both? Hence the conceptualization of Project Guitarblog, which now has turned to something even more (a weblog that features more than just guitars, but Christian music, Gospel Artists, and everything in between).
To sum up, perhaps the very thing that makes this blog different from the others (there are existing guitar blogs out there, as I recently found out) is the cheesy fact that this is mostly a loooove blog. Love, love, love. Coz well, here, I blog about things I love.
The fun thing is, if you happen to land on this site, perhaps I have something here that you love too. c”,)
